1. User-Provided Content & Data Collection
We collect user-inputted prompts (the text you enter into PromptArchitect) solely for the purpose of optimizing your prompts via large language model (LLM) APIs. This user-provided content is sent to our systems to generate improved, structured prompts. We do not use your prompts for any purpose other than delivering the optimization service you request.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is not sold to third parties. We do not use your prompts or account information for advertising or marketing. We use your data only to:
- Provide prompt optimization and related features
- Store your generation history when you are logged in (see Storage below)
- Process payments and manage your account (e.g., subscription status)
3. Third-Party Services
To optimize your prompts, we send your user-inputted prompts to third-party LLM providers, including:
- OpenAI — processing is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy
- Anthropic — processing is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy
We recommend reviewing these policies to understand how these providers handle data. We use these services only to perform the optimization you request and do not allow them to use your content for their own model training beyond what their policies state.
4. Storage & History
When you use PromptArchitect while signed in, we store your prompts and generated results in Supabase to provide you with generation history and usage tracking. This data is associated with your account and is used only to power your dashboard and history features. You may request deletion of your history or account at any time; we will process such requests in accordance with applicable law. Contact us using the details below to submit a deletion request.
5. Other Data We Collect
We collect account information (e.g., email, name when you sign up), authentication data (e.g., via Google or email/password), and usage metadata (e.g., credit usage, subscription status) to operate the service and billing. Our extension stores your API key locally in your browser; we do not transmit or store your API key on our servers beyond what is needed to validate requests.
6. Security & Retention
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and as required by law.
7. Changes & Contact
